Sarah & Andrew’s family [Glasgow, 2021]

Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of spending some time with Sarah, Andrew and Eva but last October it was the first time that I was introduced to the new family addiction…little Eoin! What can I say about this half day of chat & lively discourse in their gorgeous, cosy retreat? Eva is a 100% sociable, she enjoys interacting with adults and for sure is…”not so-tiny-any-longer”!! She shares almost all of her toys with her little brother. Eoin is charming just being himself: he is in love with mom and dad and, as a shy little boy, he is really good natured, inquisitive, silent, quick in his moves and…Oh yes!, he has the biggest, deepest blue eyes I have ever seen!!

I enjoyed spending a couple of hours with this family! It made good and was relaxing, at the same time, to admire Annasole, Martin & Ottavio’s playtime: Annasole has grown up so much since the last time I saw her and she has now become a little woman! Martin has the power to capture immediately any spectator with his quick, active and challenging personality, whilst Ottavio is such a happy, uncomplicated and chubby soul, quite effervescent! Thank you for trusting me, Elisa & George! Your home is most welcoming and your pets are also beautiful!!

I am hereby happy to publish two shoots taken in Parma in September 2021. I have known these 2 families for a while: their kids ARE terrific! The weather and the lighting were also perfect.

I already had more opportunities to take some snapshots of Elena’s kids. She is a friend of us and she has had 5 boys over the years! They are all good natured, entertain themselves pretty well and for sure they keep the family environment running at full throttle! Enjoy these summer memories dated 2018! Elisa, Mattia’s mum, is one of my best friends. It was something for me to see reflected in her 3 years old son some of her personality’s traits. Mattia was a young lively boy, very determined, extremely focused and perceptive. Whilst playing with the ball he was over the moon, as well as being at the presence of his adoring mum! I find that a black & white editing often gives to children’s pictures something more than just an extra vibrancy. It seems to me that it allows them “to shine” more, fixing them in time, in a more powerful way than colour photos. I was delighted to observe and to capture Diletta’s family deep bond and their mutual, strong love one for the other. After all, little princess Arianna was the glowy star of the shooting, as expected! Enjoy these lovely photo memories dated July 2017!

During my career as children’s photographer, I have rarely met a 1 year old baby being S O expressive! Francene was really one a kind! She was not only pretty, funny, cuddled and incredibly loved by her proud parents, but also she became like a young actress on stage, the moment after I took out my camera from the bag! Agata & Angela [Marore, 2017]

Agata was 2 months old when I met her with her super momma Angela and granny. She was tiny but really present! With her little eyes she would brows around, trying to determine what kind of situation it was. Even though it was a late afternoon of early June, we did maximize the timing of the shooting as it was hot. We were lucky enough to take profit of a gorgeous summer light, fighting a bit to find some shadows. Enjoy this beautiful memory!

Francesca, Simone & Samuele [Parma, 2017]

After a few moments of hesitation, Simone fit in the studio atmosphere massively well. He clearly had a soft spot for his little brother Samuele, who seemed instead to enjoy a lot of free space around him… even though, when Simone approached him, he then would suddenly try to squeeze him and kiss him! A caring mamma Francesca and a mighty nonna Rossana accompanied these two little princes to their portrait session and we framed them in a few photos!
