From my photo archives, back in the summer of 2017, Kristjana had just had her second baby boy. Luigi, the first one, was a beautiful little explorer, curious and relatively outgoing so it was quite easy to take them some candid shots in the park!

“Play is the highest form of research” – Albert Einstein
It was a pleasure to witness Zoe & Zeno’s busy activities in the garden! Enjoy these lovely shots, taken in June 2017!

Not having brothers of my own, I was never familiar with the world of young boys however, I was positively impressed when I went at Elena’s (a family friend) compound and had a full immersion in her world! Elena has 5 boys who, back in 2017, when these pictures were taken, were between 17 and 4 years old. I observed a few hours of their rough games “en plein air”, whilst we were having a chat and coffee and I reckon that it was very physical, it could be intense as the boys would bicker easily, but at the same time it was quicker, more immediate and less complicated than young girls play sessions! Enjoy these lovely photo memories! P.S. Some of their snapshots were featured on PhotoVogue, well done, boys!

A portrait dated 2017 of a dear friend, Marianne (1938-2021), who was my German teacher. She is now in heaven, however her unwavering sense of helpfulness, her mental strength, intellectual honesty and industriousness remains amongst us as her legacy.

I met Anisa in 2017, via a a mutual friend. She is a year younger than me and she always impressed me with her sweetness and resilience, there is so much light in her soul! Enjoy this beautiful photo memory which I cherish as I believe is one of the most outstanding services I have done.

Agata was 2 months old when I met her with her super momma Angela and granny. She was tiny but really present! With her little eyes she would brows around, trying to determine what kind of situation it was. Even though it was a late afternoon of early June, we did maximize the timing of the shooting as it was hot. We were lucky enough to take profit of a gorgeous summer light, fighting a bit to find some shadows. Enjoy this beautiful memory!

Annasole and Emi were born six weeks apart and were totally unaware of the photo shoot we had planned for them. For not knowing each other and being so small, I must admit that their interaction had been quite convincing and above all peaceful! A sincere Thanks goes to Elisa and Tomomi for their openness and for allowing their two little princesses to pose in front of my lens in the beautiful Botanical Garden!

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second” -Marc Riboud
I couldn’t agree more with this quote, especially when so much life and joy are running around you and your camera!

Yanet was working in the wine industry. She asked me to take some corporate shots of her. The first part was taken in the studio whilst, for the second round, we chose as outdoor location the Botanical Garden, which was at its best at the beginning of the summer. I still remember her being extremely approachable, with a sincere, shy and trusty smile!

Emma had grit and a sparkle! It was a pleasure to take some portraits of her, together with her caring momma Sara. Emma’s soul, daring, expansive and buoyant, came out real well during the photo session! Enjoy this beautiful memory.

Mattia was 3 years old at the time of this photo session. He was super cute and he seemed already to be self-aware of his character, strong-willed and quite independent for his tender age. He displayed his natural talent for sport, his heart being close on side to his parents and on the other side definitely leaning onto the ball!

It is always a pleasure to take portraits of this family that I have known for many years. It makes good to see their reciprocal affection.

“A sister is both your mirror and your opposite” – Elizabeth Fishel

I have known Morena and Nina since they were little girls as, for a few years, I was their babysitter. In spring 2017 their momma asked me to take some shots of them and I couldn’t wait for it! These girls are not only beautiful, they both also have a strong character, and it always fascinating for me to observe their siblings bond, especially when it works well, as in their case!
